[personal update] Whats been going on with ultra?

Hey guys, I know its been awhile but I just wanted to reach out and update you on everything thats been going on with me recently, and why I havent been super active.

The last year for me has been super hectic with health issues and other things, I’ve had to stop school for this year because of everything thats been going on. I did manage to get a part time job acting, I’ve been in a couple shows, one show called off campus and another one called watson are two you might have heard of. I just have been doing background work so you wont see me having any special roles or anything but its been paying the bills. I’ve been doing a lot of vertical dramas and ive been enjoying the change of pace. Still planning on continuing my aviation career when possible.

Unfortunately all that had to pause this year because I ended up needing to go to the hospital with something called an SVT. Its an electrical issue with the heart, and it took them 9 hospital admissions in the span of roughly a month. Basically my heart was in a loop and got stuck at 160-190+ beats per minute (for 12 hours at a time not going down) and they ended up having to do heart surgery.

So about 2 weeks ago I had my heart ablation surgery, it was a 4 hour long operation and they think the problem is fixed. While i was in hospital though, they thought it would be a fun idea to break my wrist, so im in a legit cast until the end of the month.

I’m good at home and school is paused until next year, im still having low blood oxygen at night but im seeing doctors weekly trying to get things back on track. I’m still at home and on discord daily, just behind on pings/dms but I’m doing alright and still plan to contribute to the server when possible.

Man, that sounds like a really rough year. One of my elder relatives actually went through something similar, they had to get a small battery device implanted to stabilize their heartbeat, so I can imagine how tough all the scans and hospital visits must have been for you. I’m really glad to hear the surgery went well and that you’re finally on the mend. Can’t even imagine dealing with all that and then having your wrist broken on top of it. You’ve handled it like a champ, honestly.

Take all the time you need to rest and recover —– health comes first. It’s awesome that you’ve been getting some acting work too, that’s seriously cool! Wishing you a smooth recovery and hoping next year goes a lot easier on you. Glad to see you back around

Get well soon!
