Welcome to the City of Yakaze!

The City of Yakaze was founded in 2023 by oJacy and beak_boy as a passion project to create a private city that was based on and heavily influenced by Japanese megacities such as Tokyo. Since then, it has expanded rapidly to become a Tier 5 city and one of the largest on the server.

The most extraordinary thing about Yakaze that makes it deviate from the vast majority of private cities is the emphasis on highly detailed, custom, pre-built designs for plots, districts, public buildings and roadways. At least 90% of the city’s buildings have been purposefully designed by the city owners to fit within the district’s aesthetic and blend in with the surrounding environment. Yakaze’s road network is entirely real-world accurate and the first city on the server to achieve this level of sophistication.

Purchasing Plots

Only suburban/housing plots are sold in game via AreaShop. All other plots are available for sale upon negotiation by contacting beak_boy or oJacy.

Departments

The City of Yakaze operates primarily as a singular body without specific departments, however some do exist. As the staff for the city expands the City may develop more bureacracy.

Yakaze-Silk Transport Board
The Government of Yakaze operates the Yakaze-Silk Transport Board, which maintains and constructs the majority of highways and railways near Yakaze and all major forms of transport directly leading to the City. The YSTB is independent but associated with the Southern Union for Development.

The Silk Highway, leading south out of the city, runs from Yakaze to the cities of Alexandria, Bayview and Cardiff. The Cape Coral Freeway is also maintained by the YSTB from leaving Yakaze to where it turns westward towards Cape Coral. The Southeast Line, linking Cape Coral to Cardiff, is also operated by the YSTB.

All roads operated by the YSTB and the City keep traffic in the left of the road, not the right.
