Thanks to a great suggestion from Thendil, I’ve added a new plugin to the site to add the events calendar here. The events are open to new topics now! Players can follow the below instructions to submit an event to the calendar. Submissions will require staff approval - this will prevent the calendar from being cluttered with spam. Once you have created your event topic, just let a staff member know and they will quickly review and approve it.

How to create an event topic:
Select the New Topic button highlighted with a green box.
Fill out the title and description with details of the event as usual.
Select the Calendar “Add Event” Button highlighted with a green box.
Fill out the calendar setting the date and start/end times, and select done.
Select the create topic button to submit for approval. Once submitted, let a staff member know and they will review and approve the post, adding it to the calendar.
