Hey everyone!
I am excited to announce that the Infrastructure Department’s Railways Division is being revived! In the last two years there has been little exemplary work done by the government in terms of railways and one of the original projects to connect the govt cities has floundered. A railway project is a great way to encourage new govt jobs for players both new and old, create real stimulation within the economy and encourage development within the government cities and inner generation ring.
The first project of the new revived Government Railways will be a line connecting River City, Olympic Park, North City and Valley City into one contiguous line. I plan for this to be a completely whole project - not just explosive pick tunnels with rails run done the middle, but a completely contiguous experience for players. This will require a lot of work and paid help from other players, and more will be posted about that soon.
This will just be the first project for a revival of planned government infrastructure as part of the Staff’s efforts to revive activity within the server and especially promote new player activity. More railways and improvements will come!
Also - if any private cities are interested in the development of railway connections to their city with govt support please message me and we may be able to set something up!
