We are announcing elections for the next Player President, holding office from July - December 2026.
Responsibilities
- Approve/Veto Legislation passed by Congress.
- Nominate Supreme Court Justices
- Nominate Cabinet Members
- Nominate members of the Securities Exchange Commission.
- Direct government officials & maintain good governance.
- Propose budgets to Congress.
- Represent the Player Government at official events.
- Appoint your own Vice President to act in your absence (i.e holidays etc).
- Remain active in-game.
- Act impartially from other roles you may hold (including player government/staff/party position).

Rules
The following rules apply to the nomination and election process:
- There is no limit to the number of nominees who can participate in a given election (there is no party requirement to run).
- You must have at least 30 hours of server playtime.
- You must be active throughout the period of the nominations and elections process. A ban will be considered as not active.
- You agree to join the relevant Discords to enable you to carry out your responsibilities.
- Players that win the election will have to give up their seat in Congress if they hold one.
How to Nominate
Players seeking nomination may nominate 1 other person to be their running mate (this is optional). This person will become their Vice President if they win. Parties may nominate their own candidates as well.
Presidential candidates:
I, username, declare that I will be running for President as an Independent / a member of political party. I hereby choose username as my running mate.
Nominations close midnight (UTC) on 13 Jun 2026, with voting open shortly after.
Election Process
Voting will open for 7 days. If there are more than 2 candidates and 1 candidate doesn’t receive more than 50% of the vote, the lowest candidate will be removed and another round will take place. If the winner does not notify the Player Government of an intention to appoint a running mate by the time of nominations closing, the 2nd place winner of the presidential election will be offered the position of Vice President.
