Welcome, to the first ever, Helloclan Community Plot Idea Contest!

In an effort to make Helloclan a more community based city, we will be giving you guys the power to decide what we do with this plot!

This is a massive 75x72 block plot in the heart of Helloclan, which now sits across from a new park space, a subway station, and a former event building, has gone unused for far too long. So we need some ideas for what we can put here!

Any community based buildings, meaning anywhere we as a community could meet up and interact is on the table! From museums, to stores, to interactive experiences, any idea is a possibility.

After 2 weeks (or less depending on how things go) we will select all the ideas that are possible for us to make and put them in our new in game voting system, where everyone can vote on what the winning idea is!

The winner of this contest will receive 10k in prize money, just for the IDEA! No designs required!

A palace is good for everyone. They look great, they smell great, and, most importantly, they help keep the economy alive. Not to brag, but… I know from experience.

Idea:

This is my actual suggestion, not a meme one (like above). I think a multi-use building would be best. It could be Helloclan’s City Hall. It would have multiple-use rooms.

  • A large conference/meeting hall (basically a larger and grander one than what’s inside Admin HQ.). Could also serve as City’s central/main auditorium for events (both Government & Private).

  • An art gallery (yes, ik the EH one exists but it’s a little hard to find and it’s not as impressive as the ones you see irl). An example is the private art gallery I have installed in my Winter Palace; it looks great and you can see all the paintings (all labelled with their og maker, bar a few [I think - basically I couldn’t find their names or find someone who knows who made it).

  • It could also have space for a library. This could house important/or historical books.

  • Anything could really be housed in it. So, it wouldn’t be limited to my ideas.

Why you think this would be a good community building for Helloclan?

I think the ideas I outlined, in the above, explains why it would be good for the community.

Basically, it’d be a nice public building that people can visit to see all the beautiful map art made by us [the community]. And a place to ‘hire out’ for events and such.

The design can also be anything. It can be ‘palatial’ (to fit in with nearby West City) or be a modern design that stands out and looks beautiful. Anything really.

  • Why you think this would be a good community building for Helloclan

Amphitheater - can be a beautiful building that is easy to hold a variety of event on. Having a same specific place for event could be nice because people will always know where to go for event and it could be used by the community whenever server events aren’t being hosted.

Museum for rare items - As humans we like to collect things and having a museum at the main city of the server could help attract new players because when people see theres more to the server than just a plain old economy server that would be cool, I know there is already one but having one at one of the oldest citys on the server makes it just that much cooler and can also be used to show the rich history of this server.

Prison - A place to put the gamblers on ther server (I lost 2 Mil at the casino last summer and am still salty)

Why you think this would be a good community building for Helloclan:

  • A mix of roleplay reasons, and/or place for either Horizon Awards or Taskmaster to be done.

  • NIGHT CLUB: make a cool dance floor! have custom music, either with note blocks, or with custom discs - kinda like how premium players can play music through their guide, and maybe you could even add a “DJ” job for regular players if there are no staffers online to play the music at the club
  • MOVIE THEATRE: just a cool place to hangout, i can supply a very large map art that can be used as a movie theatre screen. you could sell popcorn there and tbh would be kinda cute to hangout in there while having a discord movie night. plus it could promote people joining either the hm official discord or hm classic to stay involved in the community
  • CASINO WITH HUGE CONDOS ON TOP: make this casino more expensive. much. more. expensive. make the rewards higher, and sell condos for 50-60k each, make it a bougie place to be and waste your money. let us blow our money ples

After a much longer submission and voting period than was intended, the winners have been decided.

It was a TIE! For the Multi Purpose Facility and the Museum, so I will be figuring out a way to do both ideas.
