Deadline for nominations: 15th November 2024
Campaigning/Elections: 16th - 30th November 2024
Results: 1st December 2024

(Winning candidates take office from the 1st January 2025)

This is where players can express how they wish the server to be run by passing resolutions as well as laws for the purpose of roleplaying. The Congress building is located in North City, a short journey from /warp a.

The Congress system is made up of an Executive, the law courts and the congress itself (to pass a law both the House of Representatives & Senate must simply agree).

House of Representatives

There are a total of 11 seats available for the House of Representatives.

Players seeking nomination, may self-nominate by replying below using the following format (edit as appropriate):

(Please seek permission from a party if you intend to be their nominee. If 11 or less nominations are received, all will be duly elected automatically.)

Senate

Owners of eligible cities usually appoint their own senator or hold their own elections. They must have their own polling station to do this. The following cities/districts currently have the option to appoint/elect a senator:

Alexandria, Avalon-Sunset Coast, Argos, Ashford, Bayview, Cape Coral, HMSU, Montego Bay, Narnia, New Aurora, Paradise Hills, Sunville

Please contact an owner of one of these cities if you are interested.

(A representative of a city or grouping of cities equivalent to the size of a tier 6 city may contact Thendil if they wish for their city to be given a seat and listed above.)

Any active player may run for the position of President providing you have at least 30 hours of playtime. This position is for a term length of 6 months. The role includes:

  • Signing/veto legislation
  • Appoint secretaries for departments
  • Nominating judges
  • Upholding the constitution
  • Creating a budget for departments
  • Managing the player government and delegating duties

Why I’m running : I detect a distinct lack of useful policies. As a result, I resolve to campaign for some that are more useful, such as:

1. To protect citizens using the trains, cushions shall be fixed to the front of all of them.

1. In order to reduce bribery, standardized rates for bribing officials shall be set.

3. As some of our citizens are of a nervous disposition, silent fireworks shall be introduced.
