Types of Ironball Competitions

  • Major Tournaments

    • These are single elimination tournaments which occur twice a year.

      • 3v3 (summer): F300,000 first place, F100,000 second place, F25,000 for the other two teams finishing top 4.

      • 2v2 (winter): F200,000 first place, F75,000 second place, F25,000 for the other two teams finishing top 4.

    • These prizes are given to the team owner or captain of the team. Make sure your team discusses their pay divide if they are to win a major tournament. If you feel your pay divide is unfair, let us know.

    • Major tournament winners receive a custom ironball trophy given to each participating player.

    • The top goalscorer is deemed the MVP. This is an objective measure of skill, and winners of the MVP award receive the custom rare, the golden ironball stick.

  • All-Star Games

    • This is a 3v3 exhibition match between the top 6 goalscorers at the end of a major tournament. The game is hosted at a unique stadium.

    • The 1st and 2nd highest goalscorers are the team captains, and the 2nd highest goalscorer will get the first pick among the remaining 4 for their team.

    • Prizes:

      • F5,000 to the players on the winning team

      • F1,000 per goal scored

      • Rare ironball club and uniform given to all players participating.

  • 1v1 Weekend Tournaments

    • These are single elimination games hosted at various private cities and locations.

    • A match is finished when a player reaches a certain # of goals, usually 3 or 5

    • These do not happen during a major tournament. They are year-round, and are on the weekends at 2pm ET.

    • Prizes:

      • F10,000 first place

      • F5,000 second place

  • Friendly/Exhibition Matches

    • Friendly match: Between two organized ironball teams, and affect the power rankings for the next major tournament’s seeding.

    • Exhibition match: Random combination of players on a team, and do not affect any rankings.

    • They are either 3v3 or 2v2.

    • These do not happen during a major tournament. They are year-round, and are on the weekends at 2pm ET.

    • Prizes:

      • F1,000 to the players on the winning team

      • F500 per goal scored
