[Guide]How to buy, sell, rent and rent out with ARM.

As of 1.19 Hellominers has switched from areashop to Advanced Region Market (ARM) which in contrast to Areashop is actually maintained by its developers.

We’ve successfully migrated all Areashop regions to ARM meaning that existing rental homes, apartments and up for sale plots need no changing.

However, if you want to make new rental signs or put up plots for sale, here is how you can do that:

Selling a region
To sell a region just simply follow these instructions
First line: [arm-sell]
Second line: The name of the world the region is in, can be left empty if the sign is in the same world as the region.
Third line: regionname
Fourth line: price

If you follow these instructions it should look like this

Renting out regions
To rent out a region there are two options. The first option is [arm-rent] and the second option is [arm-contract].

[arm-rent] is practically the same as the rent you’re used to. The player rents a region, can extend the rent and if the player goes inactive and forgets to extend their rent the region becomes available again. However, unlike before, you can now set a limit to how long a player can extend their rent. So if you don’t like the idea of a player renting your apartment until 2055 you can set a limit anywhere from 1 day to 10000 days.

if you want to rent out a region for an hour or a couple of minutes replace d in 30d with

  • s for seconds
  • m for minutes
  • h for hours,

[arm-contract] on the other hand is kind of what it sounds like, a contract. The player who rents your [arm-contract] automatically keeps renting your region until either

  • The owner stops the contract
  • The renter stops the contract
  • The renter runs out of money and can’t afford the contract anymore

So for example let’s say I make a contract sign for my region TesloHQ 3000F per 30 days. If Aya clicks on that sign he pays me 3000F for that region every 30 days unless I stop the contract, he stops the contract or if he runs out of money.

[Arm-rent]
To set up rent with control simply follow these instructions
First line: [arm-rent]
Second line: The name of the world the region is in, can be left empty if the sign is in the same world as the region.
Third line: regionname
Fourth line: Price days per rent session max amount of days you want to rent out.

Example: 2500:30d:90d
Which would mean that a person can rent a region for 2500f per 30 days and extend rent up to 90 days.

After following the steps it should look like this:

[Arm-Contract]
If you don’t care how long someone rents your region you use [arm-contract]

To set up rent without control simply follow these instructions
First line: [arm-contract]
Second line: The name of the world the region is in, can be left empty if the sign is in the same world as the region.
Third line: regionname
Fourth line: price and days.

Example: 2500:30d
Which would result in the region being up for rent for 2500F per 30 days with no limits.

After following these steps it should look like this

If you want your sign to be deleted and your region to be taken off the market, make a helpme and a staffmember will delete the region for you.

Unrenting with ARM
If you want to unrent a region that you are renting simply shift right click on the sign and you’ll be given a GUI that allows you to unrent
Hope this clarifies the use of ARM, if you have any questions let us know.
